£ several weeks ago I lost half tooth, the dentist filled it up with a temporary filling so it looks as if I have a proper tooth in place, he put a small post on it like an iron staple

last night when I was eating I felt food lodged in the tooth I picked out with a toothpick then about an hour later I had a pain the pain feels as if it is infected because it's affecting about 3 teeth in that location but surely an infection wouldn't come on that quickly even if the toothpick had some type of a bacteria on it which I doubt because it was new
the pain is getting worse today the reason why I'm asking is I'm due to go to Ireland to work and I don't want to pay for a dentist in Ireland it would probably cost me 3 or €400 to get it fixed I know from experience Ireland is expensive as hell where Healthcare is concerned

just one down could it be the fact that I just launched the temporary filling or could it be indeed an infection so maybe I should take an antibiotic I have amoxicillin 500mg in my cupboard which I didn't take in the past and are still there so maybe I'll take them but I have kidney disease and that is what's putting me off

Sorry for the spelling mistakes I am using voice activated on screen keyboard as my laptop keyboard is broken
That sounds as though the nerve is exposed and nothing to do with an infective process.
Take pain killers and see your dentist.
