I am so very sorry to see that you have lost Frankie :(
As an animal lover too, my heart goes out to you.

I always suspected that most of the posters on the music thread didn't bother to see what others have posted and, indeed, only 2 of the contributors - janine and dave - read of your sad news.

Take care x

Pardon?
Not that it's a competition or anything but I replied immediately.

Susan chose there to tell of her sad news, possibly for a reason?

I know you did, but you were the OP and not a contributor. Don't take offence where none was intended.
I only rarely look in on the music thread, so I missed Susan's sad news and I'd like to pass on my condolences here.

When my beloved Biscuit was killed by a car last month, I cried for the first time in nearly 60 years, so I know how you must be feeling, Susan.

I'm lucky though in that I've still got Biscuit's three siblings to cheer me up; I hope that you'll soon be able to get some new feline company in your life too, Susan.
I did read Susan's sad news but chose not to respond, for my own reasons. Hope that clears things up for you, choux. :)
Oh gosh Wolf, I'm so sorry to read this very sad news. xx
I've got something in my eye, and the keyboard is blurry...dammit.
Please accept a hug from me, Susan. Like many others on here, I know too well what you are feeling xx
Frankie is with Merlin, and purring loudly on Rainbow Bridge.
Thanks to all of you. I posted it in the music thread because it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Frankie was fifteen and had ckd. He very recently started weeing everywhere, there was blood visible.

I went to the fridge on my own today - it was strange.
Wolf, it's ***. Hugs from Asbo and Me to a cat slave who made the most loving but hardest decision. Xxx

You made the ultimate decision wolf, well done ♥

It will be strange for a long time no doubt.
So very sorry to hear you have lost Frankie. My heart goes out to you, Wolf. x
Susan:
You're missing feline company and there are a brother and sister (both 12 years old) who're desperately seeking human company, just down the road from you:

Worth thinking about, perhaps?
Chris, some time in the future I may feel broody again but not yet. :-)

Oh wolf, I know from your many, many posts how much you adored your Frankie and I can only imagine the pain and loss you are feeling now. I'm so very, very sorry and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I wish I could help you more than these few words xxx
No words, just big hugs. XXXXX
Hi Susan, just reading right now of your sad news re Frankie your beloved.

I don't know what to say cos I can imagine how you are feeling now. Nothing can prepare you for the loss of your little cat/son/friend.

It is early days for you to think of another cat although when I lost Harvey I only lasted 5 months before I got Maxie.

Hope your pain in your heart gets easier. xx JJ
Chris - meant to say sorry to hear of your loss too and thank goodness you have the others.
