We've had problems with delivery in the last month or so. My son has complained, made the address more simple, by putting opposite memorial/ shop, whatever. Still nothing. He always gets his money back. Now, my daughter in Herts: said she sent 2 boxes of variety pack beers for my 2 sons for Xmas. Amazon told her it was delivered Wednesday, left on my doorstep. We have a porch, by the way.
I told her not to send anymore gifts through Amazon. We do know that it's definitely being delivered near by. That's it. I've finished with Amazon! How can they not find right address when they have a sat- nav, for goodness sake! Never had problems before..

i have had people tell me on the phone that my address doesn't exist. according to their sat navs even...perverse
It's Royal Mail I have a problem with, not Amazon. Have never missed an Amazon delivery and they always leave in my "safe place" if I'm not in. Royal Mail say they delivered a parcel to me late last night? Well I've no idea where it is as I was in all evening.
Yesterday I had an e-mail saying that my parcel had been delivered at 17.20.The e-mail arrived at 11am.Tha parcel was not delivered.Today I had an e-mail from Royal Mail saying the same parcel would be delivered beteen 9.30 and 1.30 today.
Are you certain the parcels are not being stolen?
Never had problem with amazon, and my hoose isn’t easy to find
mine is easy to find.
I find it odd - amazon have a policy regarding alcohol that the person they are delivering shows ID, even if they are clearly in their 90s. They would not normally leave alcohol on the doorstep
what if its boxed so you don;'t know its alcohol...
Age Verification Required on Delivery: This product is not for sale to people under the age of 18. To confirm the recipient is over 18 years, valid photographic ID with a date of birth will be required upon delivery for all customers. The driver will input your date of birth into their device to confirm that age verification has been completed successfully, but will not be able to access your date of birth information once your delivery is complete.
The sender should contact Amazon re beer as it has to be signed for and they should have record of that
I Love Amazon, a recent purchase arrived a day late, they refunded the postage.
One or two problems with Amazon but both the fault of sqad household, otherwise Amazon fantastic.
No problems here...touch wood.
And prime deliveries are coming a day early.
I'm often given a window in which the delivery will come, plus a silent notification of how many stops away the driver is with a map.
i don't get notifications of when they will come, they just arrive whenever

It could very well be stolen. We've never ever had problems before. We live in a close knit village, we like to think people are honest..
Anyway, my daughter won't mince her words when it comes to complaining.
It's interesting about having to sign for alcohol. They told my daughter it has been delivered and left on doorstep. My son said if he orders anything else, when the driver phones to say he is approaching, my son is going to ask where abouts he is and try and see for himself where parcels are going!
I have had no problems with Amazon, or any other courier, so far this year but a couple of years ago there was an incident over an ipod. The driver claimed he had left it at what was clearly an empty house opposite and he had a signature for it. There was definitely nobody there. Amazon tracked him and he had been in a side road very close to where I live. I know all the close neighbours very well, nobody had taken it in. Amazon sent me another one which arrived safely.
