A few weeks back Emmie posted about the slowness of the Royal Mail. :-

Now for something which can only be described as Amazing.

The village Post Office where I live in South Wales was closed over 12 months ago and replaced by a Mobile Van P.O. that operates for one hour every Wednesday. Well this week, just before 10.00am my wife posted a letter to a friend in Holland and yesterday at lunch time received a telephone call from the friend. Guess what!!. It was to thank my wife for the the letter which had been delivered the day after posting.

However, post for local delivery and even with a first class stamp can sometimes take Days.
