Our vacuum cleaner has died so I need a new one. The question is...... which one????? I would like a powerful corded (plug in at mains)bag less one. Something that is not heavy up & down the stairs. I'd like it not to have too many filters that need cleaning either. Not asking for a lot am I? Can anyone recommend something? or even warn me what NOT to buy. TIA Jackie x

Go on you two!!
Fight, fight, fight!!

So what is the best machine that sucks?
;-/
the dyson.
The G Tech is a sweeper rather than a vacuum.
i had both and both were useless.
I didn't like the vacuum, too cumbersome. The G Tech is so light and easy to use.
sounds like the Shark is what you are after.

Wow, crisis averted!!! I've just read all the comments and they're getting a little heated haha. I had already tried a cordless that I really liked but it only gave me 20mins of vacuuming time, if i did it off the turbo, i'd of got 30-35mins, not enough for the whole of my house. We have now got on order the Shark Anti Hair Wrap Corded Pet Allergy Vacuum Cleaner. I don't have a pet but long hair in the households that falls/sheds. Thank you all for your feedback - I can always rely on my fellow Abers. Have a good evening & a good weekend everyone Jackie x
