o read it for chrissakes this is a question straight from Darwin 1838 and the Galapagos near means immigration + ( island near) so BC are out E is out - they are opposites arent they immigration / harder dispersal D is internally inconsistent - immigration and reduced competition so it looks like A this type of question is meant to foster thinking like this NOT...

Just go middle for diddle :)
OK, I'm guessing you didn't actually spot what they were doing here!

The answer to each question is, obviously, more!
C
Why not put the whole paper on a link?
The answer is C but you won't retain the info because you didn't learn it for yourself.
You lazy little bl***er.
This is a question and answer site where any legitimate question is welcome. If you object to the question ignore it. Rudeness is surplus to requirements.
Oh do be quiet with your nannyish nagging.
chrissakes read your course material - the answer is there

the answer - we have had this before - varies as you get older and go up classes. equal is wrong because of the Law of competition cited in the last link
which you can write essays about - it is THAT interesting

and if the population is small enough then Darwin doesnt work ( population explodes anyway along with bad mutations) - {less than ten thousand in your study area)

self study is that - NOT asking people with biology degrees who dont know the details of your course

this is a question straight from Darwin 1838 and the Galapagos

near means immigration + ( island near) so BC are out
E is out - they are opposites arent they immigration / harder dispersal

D is internally inconsistent - immigration and reduced competition

so it looks like A

this type of question is meant to foster thinking like this
NOT foster I will just ask a few walk ins
1838 - ding ding HMS Beagle moors at Galapagos
very isolated - no passport control or airport taxes

one flock of birds were blown onto it eek years ago and evolved
isolated - no further immigation and no dispersal ( escape from alcatraz - if they tried it they died)

and you are being asked what Darwin might have seen [gedanken experiment]

in fact he noted what he did see anyway and then took 20 y to digest it. The idea of the Lord has made it like that and it is unchanging was very very strong at that time and yet change seemed to be going on in front of him ....

so really darwin did it the other way round - - observe and draw conclusions from observations made without an idea in mind ( also called scientific inference or induction)
