'No Base'. Can anyone help me to fix it please? Do I need to buy a new base, if that is possible? Annoyingly I noticed the red message light flashing and want to check if it is important. Thanks.

Looks like I've wasted £30 on a battery for the handset. Hopefully it will keep until needed. I'm fairly sure the handset was near fully charged when it went down.
I can't open the charging base. I've found the user manual and it doesn't say to replace batteries in charger when No Base is flashing. So does it have any batteries? It's plugged into the electricity also there is no mention of any batteries to use for the base in the manual.
The lot is going through the window shortly.
No batteries in the base. It will be connected via a PSU to the mains.
I looked online and page 58 tells you what the causes of "No Base" are. Tried to copy it but wasn't able to.

Thank you TCL but no need to copy, I have the User Manual beside me and have seen that and it hasn't helped. I was trying to do it because of what I have been told on this thread. So it's obviously not the base. I'll wait for the new battery to arrive and try that and see what happens.
