Hi I have an aquarium 54litre with a power filter. I have just introduced 6 platies and was wondering if they appreciate moving water. Don't know whether they are distressed or just having fun swimming with it. Thanks. Steve

Platies are pretty hardy and do prefer a weaker current, they also like quite heavily planted tanks as it mimics the normal habitat.

Do you really have a high current in the tank?

Hi youngmafbog the filter I have is for a tank between 40 to 80l. I have mine on the lowest rate of flow and my tank is 54l.
