Has been doing so well with her toilet training. We live in an apartment so her puppy pads are on a tray on the balcony. For the last 2 weeks she has done her business perfectly there, but today twice she has peed at a different place ( same place) on the balcony. Any ideas as to why ?

Sam could there maybe have been a cat had got on the balcony? perhaps leaving its scent making you wee fella go elsewhere? Just a thought
A puppy is quite safe to go outside from about 8 weeks, Samuraisan. She should be out and about exploring the world on a lead.
3 months and can’t go out? Of course she can! Don’t be so lazy, have you thought of getting a cat and giving your dog to someone who will exercise it?

ludwig and barry. No, she can't. The vet told me yesterday to wait another couple of weeks, she's just had her 3rd. vaccine. And ludwig, don't be so nasty, we can't wait to take her out. There really are some nasty people on here.
She's very late having her vaccines.
Sorry Sam, didn’t mean to sound nasty, just thinking about the dog, but why the hell did you get a dog if your living arrangements are so inappropriate?
People are being nasty. When I had my dog I was told by the vet to not take him outside until he'd had all his jabs.
Quite right too, ummm, but most puppies are fully vaccinated by 8 - 9 weeks.
I don't think so, Barry. Mine only had first vaccination at 8 weeks, and vet said to take him out after the second one.
Up until then, we carried him in a rucksack so he could still come out, he just wasn't allowed on the ground.

Ludwig, she’s only a tiny Bichon Maltese. Tons of room for her to run around and now as we are retired, as soon as she can, we’ll be out and about. I have taken her out in her “ bag” but not on the floor yet. She told me she’s very happy with us and loves us a lot already. :)
I'm not sure where anyone gets the impression your living arrangements are "inappropriate "? Sometimes folk are a bit judgemental on here.
I'm glad she's back to normal. She's only a baby, but she's learning.
