How do you think you would have worked in the future? Would you like to have a job where you can work from home?

Would I still have to contribute to colleagues birthday/wedding/new baby collections and Secret Santa if I worked from home?

Oh and I have been retired for 12 years and worked at/from home for around 5 years before that.

I'd have to go into the far future to know what I would have worked in the future !

Unless I was self employed, freelance, and prepared to put up with it for the rewards, then, definitely not. The social aspects are lost. Folk need to meet others and interact.

No I loved going to work loved dressing up and make-up. And comaderie with others

I've worked from home for years.

I always enjoyed going to work and the clear demarcation between home and office.

BT was one of the pioneer companies offering working from home, they'd build a desk and install PC and separate phone for you, and I was offered it plenty of times and always refused.

My youngster both are having to work from home, and both don't like it.

Not good for the mental health.

I think its different at the moment when other social options are limited. Under normal circs, WFH doesn't come with the current restrictions.
