Although I haven’t watched any of this years I’m A Celebrity yet, I’ve read an interview where he says he had to accept the offer to take part as he was absolutely broke. Even with not filming EE for a couple of months due to COVID how can he possibly have been in EE for donkeys years, every single week, and be broke??

Yes, it does make me wonder why all these so called stars don't put money away when they are earning good money, they know they will have lean times, but they seem to spend beyond their means and then plead poverty.

He said he is "skint" because of cancellations due to the virus. He joined the programme because it was the twentieth series.

The offer was made to him in January so that would have been before the pandemic had begun to have a big effect on his projects.
