Daughters family not doing well.
Daughter, son in law, eldest granddaughter, middle granddaughter all positive.
Grandson and twins still okay thank goodness.
So worrying. I check each day to see how they are and do they need anything.
So frustrating. Can't give hugs, have to keep my distance. Shopping left on doorstep then ringing doorbell.

Thank you marvel.
It doesn't usually have much effect on the young, particularly if they are healthy.
Difficult, you're doing all you can - as long as they 're all basically fit and well they should hopefully be fine.

Tough times. x
Blimey, I hope things get better for them soon, Caran.
Sorry about this. Hope everything works out for them and you.
They will soon be back to normal caran, it’s a worrying time for you all .
Caran. Did they have the test because of symptoms or were they being tested weekly ?
Question Author
They all fell ill one by one, so then had the test.
So sorry to hear your news Caran, I wish them all a speedy recovery x
Thanks, Caran. I have positive family members but they were being tested weekly and had no symptoms at all. They are isolating but still with no symptoms. I think many of us may have the virus without knowing.
gness, I think that I had it last October. Was worse than the flu, could hardly move and extremely breathless. Lasted about three weeks with me before I could move about the breathlessness lasted longer though probably a couple of months. Covid hadn't been heard of just then though.
Forgot to say that at the time I thought that it was a bad affect from the flu jab that I had a week or two before.
Tony. We had a get together in the village just before Christmas. Dave and I were so ill we missed Christmas and were ill for weeks. I’ve never had a breathless cough like it in my life. It took a long, long time to get over the weakness and tiredness. Discovered that many in the village had been just the same. We suspect Covid now.
What a worry for you Caran, I hope they all pull through soon.

Two nurses on my sons ward have covid & passed it to 3 patients who all are in isolation. Covid becomes real & fearful when it attacks close to home. Hope you and OH stay safe.

Thank you all for good wishes.
Strange isn't it, gness !.I can honestly say that I have never had flu symptoms like that before ( especially the breathlessness ). Knocked me out proper for weeks and took a very long time to get over it properly.
And all before covid hit the headlines.
Sending you a massive cuddle xx
just a note on dates

A 55-year-old individual from Hubei province in China may have been the first person to have contracted COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus spreading across the globe. That case dates back to Nov. 17, 2019, according to the South China Morning Post.

these cases in the UK and ireland are unlikely to be covid on date alone UNLESS yo are going to say the UK was first and spread it to Hubei - which I rate as unlikely
