I found a roll of film in a drawer today. It must be at least 20 years old. Is there anywhere I can get it developed. I haven’t got a clue what is on it. I understand that places are closed at the moment, but any idea where for when they open? Thanks

Boots are open and will probably do it.

Thanks Prudie, I didn’t realise that boots develop film any more
Some do some don't. My local one does. See if this link works to tell you about ones in your area

Try the local college/univeristy - some of the art students may do it for you.

There’s a small one in our village which probably doesn’t do film, but we do have a large Boots nearby so will give them a ring Thanks again
Be warned that processing a film more than a couple of years old usually results in a very pronounced colour cast to the images. You might need to scan the pictures (or get the photo processing lab to put the images in digital form onto a USB stick for you) and then do some playing around with image editing software to get something that's anywhere close to what the pictures should be like.
PS: Max Spielmann have taken over the former photo counters in some branches of Asda and Tesco. You can also access their services through many branches of Johnson's dry cleaners.

Thanks Buenchico Lots of info there There a photographers in our nearest Sainsbury’s I think I will see what they say.
Before you do anything, are you sure that the film has been exposed? If the role still has a small tag of film protruding from it, there will be no pictures on it. (My apologies if you already know this.)

Sanmac Have just checked the film I can’t see any tag on it. So does that mean that there may be photographs on it I was hoping there would be, but I don’t know what It’s so old
Yes it means there will be photos on it.

How/where was it stored?

It was in the bottom of a drawer
Bobbie22, if I were you, I would take the film not to a High-Street shop that dabbles in film developing as sort of a side-line, but to a company that specializes in photographic work. As I don't live in the UK, I can't recommend any. Good luck, and let us know how things, well, develop:)
I have an old disposable camera from years ago so might try to get it developed too as I have no idea what is on it!
Elliemay1, wouldn't you just love to find out what memories might be lurking in that camera? My advice is the same as I suggested to bobbie22, take it in to someone who specializes in this type of work.
