This may seem a stupid question, are they sold in pairs?

Sandy, go for the width closest (or slightly over) to the width of your window. Usually when you hang them, you would gather each curtain to half its width, using the white cords at the top of each curtain (where the eyelet tape is).
Most places do, but it's worth doing a bit of homework because B & Q do them in singles, and it costs twice as much as a normal pair would. A standard pair would measure 46" x 54" (Width x drop), but that is 117cm x 137cm, so you would be losing half the curtain by taking them up.

If you have a Dunelm nearby, they do a custom made service (How it would work in lockdown I don't know - you probably won't be able to go to them and I doubt they would be able to come to you). Not sure if the service is free or not, so you could be paying slightly more.

Sandy - Yes you would need to buy a pair, and the nearest size to that is 90 x 54 drop. I usually buy curtains one and a half times the width of the window. I you go to a shop like Dunelm I'm sure they will help you.
It's a small window. Go for some made to measure. I too would recommend Dunhelm.

Thank you all.
I'll wait until lockdown ends and go to the local Dunelm.
