Server Port Number

Hi, I'm trying to install a wifi security cam via android phone. In order to set up the email alerts I've to input the server port number. I have no idea what the number is. Anyone know how to find it? TIA.
(Thought I'd ask in chatterbank in case it was missed in technology!).

Try 25, 587 or 465. 25 is the most common.

Thanks Helewel, I've tried those but no joy! It is also asking for an smtp server, I'm assuming that would be "smtp.hotmail" ? as my email is a hotmail one. The app is called CamHi and I'm not quite sure of what it's asking in places. Thanks.
