Out of the blue this morning the immobiliser warning light came on. The handbook hinted it was not recognising the key. Nothing would change it, key in and out, ignition on and off. Tried the other key and after a while it worked. Good job I was at home. Can the immobiliser go on the blink that fast or is there a problem with the key. Any ideas? Cheers Mick.

Is the battery in the key fob okay?
