I sometimes look to see if we have mutual friends. There are some which lead to a porn site.

Why does facebook allow this ?

bet he's had the email... For those that don't know it's the one threatening to show a video to everyone in you friends list of what you were doing when you were on the porn site.

Don't worry it's a hoax, I've not seen any of my friends.

Never happened to me either.
It's good fun seeing where mutual friends "chain" to sometimes.

In fairness it isn't the browser that generates the ads, it's ad companies, which are hired to track the cookies that sites you visit leave on your device.
