Has anyone had a dog who needed this operation ,if so what did it entail and how much roughly was the cost .Thanks

A bit of googling found a 2009 thread where someone said that they'd been charged £900 for the operation but also a 2012 article that suggested the cost might be around £2000.
gives you some idea of the good deal your are getting under the NHS
PP I think that bibster might have problems getting the dog done on the NHS.
