Hand Held Vac Recommendations, Please

I need a hand held vacuum specifically to clean skirting boards, carpet edges and stairs. It must be able to cope with hair without brushes clogging. If it can vacuum upholstery and mattresses that will be a bonus, not an essential

I have the hand held GTech and have no problems with it whatsoever. I even have a very hairy dog who moults and it copes admirably with that. I wouldn't want any other personally. Good suction too. Yes, I am happy with it.

Barry I splurged and bought a cordless dyson animal with 5 attachments . Its really light and easy to use with attachments for stairs skirting boards and even computer keyboards. I tried hand held vacuums and they were rubbish -I only got halfway up my stairs and the battery ran out. Dyson are more expensive for a reason

As I said earlier, APG, I was hugely disappointed with my daughter's new Dyson a few days ago. My old vac still picked up lots after she'd used it on my carpet

Did someone mention Gtech.?

I have a Gtech Hedge Trimmer. It only take s 15hrs to fully charge for 45minutes use ,if you're lucky.!! Absolute rubbish. I've reverted to using a hand shears.

Can't speak for the firm's Vacuum Cleaners, which I would be wary of trying.
