...still hasn't popped. The infection has gone after taking the antibiotics but the tick head is still in there. I am bathing it with hot salty water and have had a go at squeezing it but all that happens is that the skin abrades and a clear fluid comes out. Yesterday, I resorted to a needle and tweezers but made a right mess and it's now very very sore sore.

Any suggestions as to how it can be drawn out?

My tomatoes were all red and they are now in the compost bin!
Saturdays jobs .. to clearthe polytunnel of tomatoes and chillis.
What do you do with 1000 + chillis, they will take your breath away they are so hot ?
Have promised to make some leek and potato soup.
Have to put wine on the shopping list !

Cant make soup without wine !
When my granddaughter had a verrucca she was advised to use the following over three days and repeat until gone. It worked
Day 1 tee tree oil on cotton pad fix in place with tape
Day 2 silver duct tape
Day 3 banana skin scraped clean hold in place with plaster.
Have used this for ticks and nasty splinters too
I've heard that too, Martin.....also bananas, eggshells, bread and potatoes. Quite a picnic... :-)
Just hope you dont have to answer the door with that lot strapped around your kneck !
I also used to use the soap and sugar poultice. It was brilliant for drawing splinters out.
