Infection rates are down and falling. This was also on BBC News 2 days ago. There seems to have been an alarmist trend about the reporting of CV-19 since last March. At first we were given daily death figures. When these started to decline, in order to keep up the alarmism, the switch was to the number of daily infections. The infection rate is falling in Greater Manchester, so the alarmism now switches to reporting that death rates from CV-19 in the over-60's is rising. All of this lockdown gubbins should be removed now! Now, I say! Now!

The number of cases is kind of irrelevant especially given the number of false positives, if can be a guide only. And using percentages on low numbers qualifies as scaremongering.

It is beginning to look like there is absolutely no need for tier 3 but I bet Herr Hancockup pushes ahead. It's all about control now.
