^That was just to open the post so that if Togo or Spice are about to, they won't open a separate one :-)

ITV 7; One Master*, Laughifuwant, Even So*, Ontario, Palace Pier, Magical & Tempus*. £1 e.w. acca

*Denotes win singles, 50p Patent, 75p e.w. Treble @ 11/2, 11/2 and 13/2. Possible return of £8 for all 3 placed, £484 for all 3 win. Bet placed with Sky as they go 5 places, 4 places and 6 places respectively.

Back later with my main bet. Best of luck, all.
Doubt I'll bet at Ascot.
I've done Ardamir? in the 5.15@Leopardstown. Might do Buckman's Tavern in the preceding handicap.
Good luck today. I reckon you'll need it.
Hi Ken had seen it but was just hanging on to make sure I had no N/Rs. Will post my selections in a little while. A bit busy here this morning having a hedge out and a bit if fencing put up. Time was when I would have done the lot myself but now I like someone to do the heavy slogging. The National Hunt season looms large again and I have been keeping a weather eye on the results and trying to see who is firing. Greatrix, Nicholls, and George seem to be going well and the Skeltons got off the mark yesterday after a barren opening spell, but the one that made my eyes pop was the double sent out by Alexandra Dunn on Thurs. at Wincanton. Two winners the first @ 33/1 and the second @66/1, a 2,278/1 double. A tenner each way on that would have made us happy.
For the ITV 7 I've gone for a combination of mostly Rob Wright's tips in The Times, and other (ahem) informed choices. Alas, Leopardstown's not covered in The Times.

Let's Go. ITV7 as per with very small e/w 7,6,& 5 timers. With a trixie*** and a £1 e/w Acca, 25P e/w Doubles and Trebles ⁕⁕⁕⁕ Good luck to everyone.

Cape Byron⁕ @12/1 1.55Asc.
Free Solo* @4/1 2.25Leop.
Mehdaayih⁕ @7/1 2.30Asc.
Zaffy's Pride* @9/2 3.00Leop.
Century Dream⁕ @20/1 3.05Asc.
Mishriff* @5/1 3.40Asc.
King Ottokar⁕ @9/1 4.15Ascot.

I was loath to leave Raaeq out of the last one as it has done well for me but King Ottoker is one from my "stable" and I have followed it off a cliff this year. Another from that stable is Century Dream so that had to go in also. Got my eye on Lady Reset in the 4.40 at Stratford, perhaps for later.

Main bet;

3.10 Cat; Economic Crisis @ 10/1
3.45 Cat; Count D'orsay @ 9/2
4.20 Cat; Gamesters Icon @ 4/1
5.25 Cat; Smart Lass @ 13/2

Win singles, 20p L15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = £24, 4 winners = £3,807

Many in the opener at Ascot may not get the 2m, particularly in the conditions. Johnston's Mildenberger has won on soft and gets the distance. £1 e.w. @ 90/1 to 4 places.

Brando has been placed 3 times in the 1.55 (4th in last 2 runnings) £1 e.w. @ 66/1 to 5 places.
Holly Doyle rewrites the record books. Group 1 win. How many "firsts" is that now.

Thought mine had just got it on the nod :-(
Yeah...sorry Ken. I missed the post where you were having a bit of e/w on Brando. Place money for it is not bad though. Paid better odds that the winner got.

There may just be the patter of tiny feet in 9 month from today with both Hollie and her chap, Tom, booting two winners apiece :-))
You know when your luck isn't in when you are on the wrong end of 5 - that's FIVE - photo-finishes :-((
Living their own fairy story those two Ken. I'm living in a nightmare. Must have killed a Robin. Can't pick my nose lately. Never mind, team won even without a goalie.

....Err Ken ... Smile for the camera. :))
Question Author
Wouldn't mind so much, Togo, but i could've sworn that on at least 3 occasions, my horse was in front. Trouble is, they were in front just before and just after the line:-//

Ah, at the sixth attempt, Going Mobile breaks the bad run in photo-finishes @ 11/2!
Well done there Ken you broke the spell. I did say smile for the camera.
