Choice Of Kindle

I have Amazon Prime via alexa firestick. I am thinking of buying a kindle on Amazon Day, as I really miss my local library which has been closed since March and shows no sign of ever opening again.
Would appreciate any suggestions of which to buy. I only want to read books, not play games or videos etc. I am a technical Luddite, so a simple one would suffice. Thanks for all help given.

If you've got content on your existing Kindle that was purchased from Amazon it will have DRM protection in it, so you can't simply copy it to another device (such as a new Kindle). What you need to do is to register your new Kindle with your Amazon account, then access the account to re-download (without further payment) that same content to your new device.

on the paperwhite you have to tap or swipe the screen to turn the page. My very old kindle had a button, but the best of all was my medium old kindle which had a kind of capacitive page turn that sensed you were pressing harder with your finger. Difficult to describe, but probably some physicist could!
Its a pain because i have a hand disability (among other disabilities) and with the medium odl one i could do it all with one hand, whereas the new one is a bit heavier and i dont have the dexterity to do it with one hand

if you look at this pic you can sort of see a circle and a vertical line either side - that was for page turning, but it wasn't proud of the surface, just knew when you were "pressing" it. Sadly, you can't buy them new anymore

dont get me wrong, i still love the paperwhite and want to have its babies, but if i had to "sophie's choice" them i'd have the voyage

Thank you all for your great information, I think it will have to be a paper white. My kind sister-in-law has said she will help me set it up, so all being well by next week it will be all systems go. I'm still learning at 70!!!
