SO SAD. ....... After reading that Facebook is saying that posting the Lord’s Prayer goes against their policies, I’m asking all Christians please post the Lord’s Prayer:

Our father which art in Heaven
Hallowed be thy name
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth
As it is in Heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors
And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil
For Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever
Amen

oh god I have finally seen an answer before it is removed !
and it is rather obvious why it went

I mean did Einsteen ever say to Maritsa ( his wee wifey silly!)
Ein - for it is he - - you shut the frack up, vooman! you know God he no play with dice! (*)
Maritsa ( arguendo ) (**) hey! I play weez liddle liddle dice every nigh big fella! - you shaddap!

I pray for world peace I do

oopth
(*) Einstein bright boy tho he was didnt like quantum mechanics and said " God does not play dice

(**) the court of barons exchequer used to 'arguendo'. is it arguendo ( gerund, ablative) or arguenda ( gerundive, adjectival and so agree with gender of Maritsa.
I know readers will share my anxieties on these points
"...And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors...."

SO, that excuses tax avoidance & tax claims ;)
You can be in Debt to someone with no money involved. Another word for Trespass is Misdemeanour, so ' forgive us our misdemeanours as we forgive the misdemeanours of others ' would go better.

Still rubbish though and I refuse to say it at any funerals or christenings I have to go to.
Can I post the Pink Floyd version on Facebook?

"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want
He makes me down to lie
Through pastures green he leadeth me the silent waters by
With bright knives he releaseth my soul
He maketh me to hang on hooks in high places
He converteth me to lamb cutlets
For lo,m he hath great power and great hunger
When cometh the day we lowly ones
Through quiet reflection and great dedication
Master the art of karate
Lo, we shall rise up
And then we'll make the ***'s eyes water."
Whoops . . . wrong prayer.
Ed rules OK.

Misprint in the second line which should read "Hallo, Ed be thy name"
In any event, posting a status update on FB that consists of the Lords Prayer in it's entirety is hardly the Social Media highlight of the year is it.

Not quite as catching as the Satanic Temple's 'Socks for Satan' campaign.
Who's our father, what's the name, what the Kingdom, who's will done on earth, etc etc when you found all this out you will have all your answers in the Bible have fun!

Bread - what type do the Anglicans prefer should it be sourdough or wholewheat or pumpkin or rye or Irish soda, cotton wool white? And where do croissants slot in? And what if you have a wheat allergy?

And should I forgive Visa or Paypal more or less than Mastercard?

And does God want the United Kingdom after Scotland is liberated?
And what of Republics anyway?

The Lord needs to get up to date.
