Question Author
he did not call me thick
he said I was being thick
which was an answer to my question
I was just high - lighting how complicated it has been to get my head around
and now they are saying test and trace delays are doubling every few days
johnny where are they saying that and who is they?
The NHS test/track and trace advice seems flawed to me.
You should self isolate “if told to” but you can only get a test if you develop symptoms and if you have no symptoms people who live with you don’t have to self isolate.
This disregards the fact that a huge proportion of cases are asymptomatic. But infectious
Only 18% of people self-isolate after developing symptoms

Only 11% quarantine after being told by NHS Test and Trace that they’ve been in contact with a confirmed case
I’m surprised it’s that many.
Told you can’t leave your house for a fortnight with no chance of a test unless you develop symptoms in which case there’s a good chance you dint need one assuming you can get one.
Meanwhile on the other hand your family can do as they please, despite being in contact with a possible infection 24/7
What am missing here?
The “I”

Well spotted :-)

I can't see anywhere in that where they say that delays are doubling every few days?
