Hi I am 61 and have about 7 stone to lose. I am calorie counting.I know all about calories and have lost weight before but my problem is I give up.I start and then when I look ahead and realize how much I have to lose I give up.I need to keep going for health reason.Do any of you know any proven tips that can help me please.? Thanks.

There is an advertisement that keeps popping up, for a course called, Noom. Combination of diet and psychology. Don't know what it costs but makes big claims.

Make smaller goals, then the enormity of the whole task doesn't overwhelm you. And you get regular lifting wins.
Thanks Mamba, looks like too good to be true, and the only thing getting slimmer would be my wallet!

Buying a fitbit and going for a walk everyday might help. If you are able to, of course.
Eat the elephant one bite at a time..... single pound targets....
Set small, measurable goals that will help you get to your overall large goal. Keep a food and exercise journal.
