Sorry no link but in yesterdays I newspaper they said that as from this Thursday Sky Arts would be available on Freeview and Freesat. Something to do with the possible closing down of BBC 4.
Well I hope BBC4 doesn't close down but I suppose it's likely.
But as non Sky subscriber having Sky Arts available is good news indeed. I usually only see it when I go to see my OH in Somerset.

whilst sky arts will be free from the 17th (freeview channel 11), it's not because BBC4 is closing; although it may well have been closed if over 75s had kept their free licences. so it's oldies who are bringing you BBC4......

Good Mushroom. So I will start to pay my licence fee again quite happily..
What sort of programmes do you get on Sky Arts ?
