I didn't see your thread Ladybirder. I just posted myself but I've asked for it to be removed. Yes - as I said in my thread he cheered up our lives post war with his bright colours and clean lines. And he seemed such a very nice person.

Thank you Rosie. I remember I furnished my first London flat with Conran stuff from his shop on the Kings Road I think it was. I don't know if it's as popular now as it was then.
Not that awful Habitat stuff ?
