I have seen and heard people being lambasted for what they think is wrong or right like
the refusal to believe the holocaust ever took place
same sex relations are not normal
mixed race relationships are not normal
the covid myth
#these are quite harmful views in some peoples minds
but surely these people are entitled to their beliefs and should not try and force it upon others but then why is it so that the other way around it is tolerated so much ?

Are you right? You're not wrong.
Both views are forced on each other on sites like this. I don't make a habit of telling people my views when I've just popped into the pub for a few.
Let everybody speak.
The truth will stand up for itself.
Wrong-think is divisive.
Same sex relationship is a moral issue. It is acceptable that people will have different opinions but all should respect the rights of others. The Holocaust is a factual matter not opinion, and those denying it should be called to account.

This. You can disagree with same sex or mixed race couples if you wish, although if you state your opinion in a forum, others are also entitled to take a contrary view from you. Deny the holocaust, or try to argue that the Earth is flat, and you're flying in the face of truth and fact, and you shoulf be prepared to get run over by the logic bus.
Why are the statements "some people are attracted to others of the same sex" and "some people are attracted to others of different racial origin" any less factual?
Some agree and some disagree, Jim.

It isn't, but a person can have a moral objective to such a union.
Thanks for the BA J5. I'll consider it shared with Jonathan-Joe.
// Same sex relationship is a moral issue. //

It's nothing to do with morals. It's more of a 'mind your own business and concentrate on your own life' issue, as is mixed race relationships.

The other things are just questions of fact or fiction.
It's an moral issue inasmuch as whether you support it or not depends solely on the settings of your own moral compass.
I get that people object to same sex relationships and mixed race relationships - what I object to is the way that they object. There’s been a post today where objections were voiced in nasty, spiteful and distasteful ways. Object as much as you like but don’t be an *** in the way it’s done.
Honestly Sherrard, Im not sure how someone can object to a mixed race relationship in a pleasant way. A same sex relationship isn't much better, although I can get the whole "I just don't want to see it" angle to an extent. Just let people be to love who they will.

Explain why please, and then explain why the same people shouldn't just mind their own business.
