I saw Nigella make this, using Orzo pasta which looks like large grains of rice. It only uses pancetta, peas and orzo, along with water, and finished with butter and Parmesan.
I’m going to give it a go as she says it’s very like risotto but without all the stirring, and only needs simmering for ten minutes.
Anyone ever used Orzo pasta?

Never thought of adding it to soup Bednobs, good idea, especially with autumn and winter in sight and soups beckoning.
Ive read that this pea and pancetta thing, as it’s so quick to cook, is a good ‘go to’ meal when you can’t think of anything else.
I've used it. It's nice in minestrone.
