Consumer Energy Scam ?

In the last few days I have received unsolicited calls from:
Consumer Energy Solutions,
Warmer Homes
I have declined their offers but I wonder if they are genuine government or council schemes
as the real Warmer Homes website is headed with a warning about 'cold callers'
What do you think is going on?

If you took note of the number they called you on it's often possible to check.

There are some scams relating to that company name.

I checked the number without Success Mamyalynne but it was a Swansea number:

I work on the principle that all unsolicited calls are scams, if they're genuine they'll try again and be more specific.

Scam or not I never ever deal with folk who cold call either by phone, letter or in person. I don't like it and don't want to encourage it.

they certainly want your money

but this may be - whatever service worth £100 free!
oh and we want a bit more too ....

problem is - - responding and you may get on the suckers' list. - you will then never get a moments peace
