No, Anne, the large teaching hospital near me allows visitors in certain circumstances although it still isn't the free for all that it was previously.

I was in hospital for five days a few months ago, I was glad of no visitors, no awkward silences, nerves on edge when grandkids come in and get curious, food brought in that would never get eaten, I just want to lie there and get well, undisturbed.
