If hunted game doesn't have the diseases why is road kill more likely to ? I might try it if someone experienced prepared it for us. Not rushing out to find stuff though.
OG Wild hunted game is the same -riddled with worms could be diseased, that's why people in the know will freeze any wild game for at least a week before they will eat it. If you see a mixy rabbit you will not shoot it - its hard sometimes to tell if its a mixy rabbit when its half squashed by a car

You also have to be careful with deer. Internal damage can very quickly ruin the meat. That's why hunters gut them asap.
