We had the heaviest rain I have ever seen today in south Devon. I have never ever seen anything like it. It was pouring off the roof like Niagara Falls. Best of all. When I went in the living room it was pouring in through the ceiling and round the lights. I have had a really exciting day ringing my insurance company. Apparently the roof is not insured. But someone is coming to have a look a week tomorrow. I feel so sad for those people who got flooded last year. A really terrible day !

I hope you get the help you need...it sounds like you had a deluge.
I'm in Plymouth, and we really didn't have the weather the Met office seemed to be predicting for us.
