Sleeping In This Heat

Is anybody managing it? I can’t even go in the bedroom at the moment, it must be over 100 degrees in there. I’m sleeping (well, trying to) in the living room and the dog’s not happy about it, he keeps stropping about and flopping on the floor with huge sighs.

Please let it cool off soon.

Sat in kitchen with a freestanding fan on the go, far end of kitchen, the bit not covered by fan the mercury is showing 29C.

No too hot and humid here thankfully, my bedroom is close to water so is often quite cool.

I have two fans blowing over me and sleep reasonably OK, allowing for the fact I never sleep that brilliantly.

In madrid's summer heat of 30c at night we tend to go to bed with soaking wet t-shirts.
Oh i tend to sleep with my mattress on the floor in the living room.

Do the reverse with a hot water bottle, fill it with freezing cold water and take a small towel soaked in cold water and only wrung out a little bit and drape it over your chest and abdomen area - works like a dream!

No problem sleeping with a lightweight duvet.

Just before bed a nice swim in my pool.
If i wake during the night a quick dip in the pool again.

Cold shower before bed, ceiling fan, very lightweight throw, no problem sleeping.

I used to wrap those cool box frozen insert things in a tea towel and put them in my bed.
