Tv Can't Remember

One of my TVs when hooked up by Bluetooth to my earplugs works beautifully, so what is my problem,I hear you cry.
Well, each time I turn the TV on and hook up I have to go through the whole rigmarole of menu.?.settings?..?..sound,,, devices ?...?.Bluetooth
Surely in this era of technology, THE TV which us a fairly new LD should remember my instructions and offer me the choice of Bluetooth from the start.
Any help?

Thank you Barry, it is an LG 43 inch but no idea of the model.?........sorry.

You should see a 'paired devices' section in your volume menu. Open that and select your earplugs. Then select 'make primary audio output'. If you have a 'save' option, select that.

Hopefully your earplugs will connect automatically from now on

Sorry Barry but I couldn't find " make primary audio output". No problem in hooking up, but it is just that THE TV can't remember for the next switch on.
