It's Friday, I hope you all have nice plans for the weekend. Our Builder is back on Monday to start the work at the front of the house. Finally we had some plastering done too!

Yes I know, but it was awful to have to tell my mum we're not going on holiday now after everything she's been through. I was hoping to soften the blow on her birthday this year.

Anne, he has Alzheimer's so it's always a bit concerning when he doesn't post.

We are not all fortunate enough to go on holiday at all and certainly not numerous times a year.
Hardly a disaster in the scheme of things!

I never described it as a disaster, Gill, just a very big disappointment. And however many holidays I have in a year, they are the fruits of my hard labour and not simply good fortune.
