I just heard this song as a 'filler' between programmes on an internet comedy radio station and realised that I've probly not heard it for nearly 60 years. (My mother strongly disapproved of it because it used the word 'kids' to refer to children, which she regarded as totally abhorrent. I wasn't meant to listen to it on the radio, yet alone like it!).

The lyrics seem to prove that nothing's changed much though ;-)

I've posted this several times before but it seems just perfect for this thread, so I'll give it yet another outing.

Any more, folks?

^^^ My mother wouldn't have approved of me saying "probly" either. (She hated people missing out syllables in words, as with "parliment"). However that's just a typo above, honestly!
I suspect this song could be su g by every older generation since time began. Love the grumpy old men.

I think that (if we could find anyone here who can actually sing) it wouldn't very difficult to create our own choir of AB's grumpy old men, Roopower. We seem to have plenty of people who're suitably qualified ;-)

Good choice, Bobbi!
