I am looking at hiring a touring caravan for a weekend, although it would be delivered to the venue by the hirers. I've got a couple of questions (I know they would answer them but just wondered if anyone had any ideas before I contact them). Its not a proper caravan site, its a village hall playing field where we have a dog show over two days. One of the conditions is that the chemical toilet has to be emptied and clean on return - how easy is this to do and as its not a caravan site where would be the best place to empty it - we are hiring portaloos for the show - would I be able to empty the cassette toilet into one of those?

Simply empty it into a WC pan in the village hall:

Although the guy here is using a proper disposal point on a campsite, this video shows you how easy it is to carry out the task. (You might want to take a garden hose along to the show, so that you can properly rinse out the tank):
Be careful if you just tip it into the Village Hall WC; if there are a lot of solids in it you might block it. You will not have the same problem if you tip it into a Portaloo.
