Does anyone know if these are still on hold? The opticians we use are offering adult appointments but not under 16’s (I get why they wouldn’t want to be in the little, tiny room with the ‘patient’ and their parent). Girl desperately needs a new prescription. Thank you.

Have you checked your nearest Vision Express? They are doing tests for wee ones.

She’s not so wee these days but still not old enough to go on her own. Don’t think she’d be happy about going somewhere new, especially with social distancing (she’s a creature of habit). If push comes to shove I’ll try vision express so she has new glasses for school.
Specsavers are accepting bookings for kids' eye tests:

Just checked and our local Vision Express has no under 16 appointments either.

I’ve tried booking Buenchico but the calendar on Specsavers says no appointments but there are adult appointment available (boy #1 needs one too).
