Toshiba what?

Phone? Tablet? Laptop?

(The exactly model number of whatever it is might help too. It's probably on the bottom/back of it somewhere).

Toshiba TV - you told me the correct jack last time and I got it to work. However there are only two jacks at the back of the TV that I can get the wee thing into but nothing is coming through the headphones. There is a movie that I taped with no subtitles so was going to try the headphones.

I'll leave it for the night Chris but if you can help - I'll watch the movie another night.
I'll need the model number, from the back of the set (or from the box that it came in), in order to be in a position to help, Jennyjoan.
Just a thought though:

If you're referring to your wireless headphones, JJ, probably the most common reason for having no sound is that the channel switch on the headphones (or the one on the transmitter unit) has got knocked out of position.

Check that BOTH switches are in the 'Channel 1' position (or BOTH in the 'Channel 2' position).

hi Chris - just an update. In the light of today - I found the right hole/jack. I was putting in to another jack. Thanks for your help.

Will be looking forward to my movie tonight as I love Olimpia Dukakis.
