A variation of the Amazon scam.Now calling to thank one for joinig Amazon Prime and if you wish to cancel just press the magic number 1. Finishes with "press button one now".

They never give up Danny do they. I hate to think of the number of people still taken in and losing money because of these scams.

The idea is that they tell you have paid for Amazon Prime and this message will be going to many who haven't subscribed(like me) and they will press the 1 button in order to cancel.
What happens when/if you press button 1?
I think you get put through to someone who tries to get your bank details.
Or worse tries to persuade you to download software that captures your keystrokes and hence can harvest all your passwords
You will be put through to someone who will keep you talking. As soon as you press 1 you are paying for the call at a premium rate.
