my sister has lost some of her channels on Freeview - she rung Freeview there and the fella told her in order to get the channels back, she has to take her aerial completely out from the TV.

Allegedly a bar will come up and she has to follow instructions, apparently this will bring her back to default settings.

These are my words. Now in the last year channels have gone and she has got a number of fellas to try and retune it.

I'm talking too much here ^^^ - but before she gets another guy out - is this true.

I told her at the end of all this she will have no picture - joking of course - or perhaps not.

Would any of know about this.

She needs to go into the menu of her TV and click on auto tuning.

Mexican - she is over 70 and certainly wouldn't have that manual.

The remote will have a "menu" button.

In the menu there will be an option to retune.
Freeview give instructions here...

I'm over 70 and I can do it...which reminds me I need to do mine

thanks Pasta - I know she wouldn't be able to retune as she is "afraid" of not getting a picture back - and for me I could give it a go as I'm not bad - but I wouldn't touch her TV if you gave me a million pounds LOL
I'm also in my 70s.
If she can change channels she can press 'menu'!
Why wont you touch her TV?
