Kate back in Hospital since yesterday evening. Just spoken to her, can't visit, she's not sure what's happening at the moment, they're trying to decide, we will see.

No, she had a fall, blue lights here in about 10 minutes, can't fault them, they were really good, needless to say have met them before, we're on first name terms, they know her history.

This toing and froing must be hard work, she needs a full assessment - does she have walking aids etc?

It is very worrying that she was discharged and then is straight back again. You may need to stand your ground and make sure they treat the cause and not the symptoms.

We had similar with my grandfather. They decided to discharge him again for the second time in 72 hours (at midnight to the care of his 91 year old wife). I had to explain in words of one syllable why this was a bad idea. They kept him in which was just as well because he was quite seriously ill.
