Getting a large bag of frozen peas out of the freezer. I pulled the drawer out onto the floor. As I got the bag out all the peas spilled out, half into the drawer and half on the floor. Boy can they scatter! I managed to sweep most of them up using a dustpan and brush and put them in the bin. I lost a lot that went under the freezer. I had to take everything out of the drawer to gather up all the ones in there. I managed to save most of those. But it's incredible where they can get to!

Not too bad getting them up when they are frozen...but as they defrost...nooo!
You'll probably be finding stray peas for weeks.
Caran, my bottom drawer in the freezer is exclusively for frozen veg. Every 3 or 4 weeks, I take all the drawers out and wipe the inside of the fridge with a mild disinfectant. And, under the bottom drawer, I always find at least 3 meals worth of garden peas, broad beans and sweet corn.
Escapeas!
Its really pees me off when that happens.
Those peas really do scatter everywhere.
remember, the posher the restaurant, the higher the peas bounce.
I've invented square peas - patent pending.
I eat my peas with honey
