Tomorrow, 4th July 2020, is the day when pubs are allowed to open their doors once more. My local paper reports; "Lancashire police prepare for New Year's Eve in July".
A few on here have suggested 'Inn-dependence Day'.
And on the Ken Bruce show this morning, I heard "Father's Christmas" mentioned.

Any others?

all these jammed beaches, outrageous anti-statue marches, VE day parties, raves in fields in Hampshire and so forth - have we actually seen any spikes in infection rates following them?

It's going to rain all day here tomorrow...I've never been so happy with a forecast of rain. Maybe it will put a damper on the "celebrations".
Are you ok, Pasta?
thanks, woofgang. I suppose an alternative might be that their guesstimates are off target. I'd certainly have expected to see some early ripples of a second wave by now, and maybe I still will; but really, not a lot of predictions/warnings have been coming true lately.
I'm crying a LOT Tilley...so could be better. There's a bottle of red waiting to be opened. Thanks for asking x
