after a wonderful but anomalous spring we're getting a normal English summer, unfortunately - where we are, that's typically sunny for 2 or 3 hours in the morning and again in late evening, but grey and damp in between.

Been grey and overcast with occasional rain here since the beginning of July. Doesn't bode very well for decent summer.

Rain was forcast here today (Hertfordshire) but so far has been sunny and quite warm but blowy, but grey clouds in the distance as I type

Just had a little spell where the sun had his hat on and now it's rain again.
