I see our friend - J. Turner from Dunfermline has won the £50 Mystery Word Bonus this week.
This person has won 4/5 times recently between the Crusader and Skeleton crosswords...I think it is the Sunday Express just playing silly beggars or J. Turner is extremely lucky !!!

Jamsie, how do you know that he won the Crusader? I have never seen the winners published for this crossword.
Congratulations to J. Turner, why does it matter to you how
often he/she wins Be happy for them.

I won two weeks in a row many years ago but that's the luck
of the draw.

Sorry Danny it was the Skeleton £50 Mystery Word Bonus that they won this week....J/Boy
Ah!
Given that there must be quite a few entrants each week, J Turner's winning spree is a tad suss. So suss that, were I still entering on a weekly basis, i'd immediately cease to do so.
on page 63 is a list of the winners for the 14th June, how could
you have this weeks winner.
Clare, I think Jamsie means that J Turner was published as a winner this week.
Yes indeed that is correct.

A few weeks ago I looked at a list of winners (not Express)
and there was my name and my postcode ~ I was delighted
but that was short lived, it was someone else in the area
I don't know who as there are lot of people in the area with
the same name and NOT related but I as I've said before its
the luck of the draw.
Hope you have a lovely Sunday afternoon/evening.

Good luck and keep safe
Well, I won the skeleton last week, which was rather nice.!
I've always been a little suspicious of crossword prizes. For example, I like to do the Sunday Express General Knowledge £1,000 Crossword but do wonder sometimes what is the papers incentive to give away £52,000 p.a. It isn't even that they use the name and address for marketing purposes.
I too have won about 4 - 5 times recently on the Express crosswords. When i won the Big Monday i actually had a complete stranger ring me up to check i was genuine. It's just the luck of the draw
i've waited in vain for many years to receive a cheque in the post for the crusader crossword

I won the Crusader last year.
