Hi would like to know the opinions of people who have a cordless Hoover of there suggestion of which is the best for power and running time . There are so many good and bad reviews of different makes and models. I would be grateful for some advice on make and model to help me make my choice. price is not really essential but quality and performance a must .thanks i

Do you have pets bluetoon?
How many storeys in your house?
Do you have hard floors or carpeted floors or a mixture of both?
i have had a couple of Gtechs and unimpressed. My current vac is a dyson v10 and when it gives up the ghost eventually I will replace with whatever is the new model. I have got just the one dog now but all the garden doors (3) open directly onto carpet. It works really well does stairs and walls and ceilings. My only slight con is that its a bit heavy to spend long vaccuuming walls and ceilings

oh got wood floor, carpet, some ceramic floor tile and flotex. It does them all no problem.
Hi bluetoon,
I dont have experience of the Hoover. I bought a Shark liftaway NV601UK ( corded) ... extremely well made these. Shark liftaways do cordless too, depends which model suits your budget & circumstance .. pets perhaps. Some of the Shark cordless have twin battery/ triple battery for when you dont want to wait fkr charving. Here are their range ..

Here's a list of top cordless for 2020, I agree with the order for a regular size home with mixed flooring. You can narrow down by price.

1.Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute. ...
2.Bosch Unlimited BCS122GB. ...
3.Gtech Pro. ...
4.Vax Blade 32V. ...
5.Shark Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner with Anti Hair Wrap. ...
6.Gtech Hylite.
Oh and the Gtech goes from carpet to tiles to wooden floor without any problems whatsoever. Would definitely recommend.
i literally threw my G Tech out, it used to leave dust trails on the carpet. I went and bought a Dyson and so far have had no problem.
Well it must have been faulty emmie, I've never had that problem.
i bought a Dyson on the advice of those on AB.
the V10 is a good model, but the only draw back is the way you empty it, but once you get the hang of it, its a doddle.
I too think you had a faulty machine emmie, mine is excellent on my carpets.
they gave me a free replacement when i complained about it. That did exactly the same...
I had the same problem Emmie.
woof, i got so annoyed that i put it out with the trash....
Must say I find that very strange.

It is a shame you didn't put it for sale on eBay (for spares) - I'm sure someone would've bought it. That's how I got my spare. The battery alone is quite expensive (not that I've needed my spare battery as yet).
I love my GTech and am really glad I chose it. Great little vacuum.
windywillow - how much does a new battery cost and how long does one last? I've had my GTech for just over a year now.
margie, £70 from the GTech website

Oh thank you very much barry.
