oh dear
called at tesco today, went to self checkout only to find that the last peron (s) had not paid
the bill was £129.88
i see this times over a various supermarkets you got to have a brass nerve to do this

Not allowed and we had to act as we would with any other customer even though you knew they’d nicked the article, there was a button under the desk we’d press which would get security to watch them but even their hands were tied to a degree , they’d ‘marry’ what they know with the centres security and the only punishment metered out was a ban

I’d be surprised if Tesco let that slip. Or perhaps their gestapo officers are too busy enforcing their ridiculous one way system!

The self service til could have just been used as a training til prior to you going over to it - sometimes they do that in my local supermarket so the staff know what to do if someone has a problem
